Congener Societies

SCM has agreements with several international counterparts to ensure that it receives revenue from the use of the works it manages in other countries. Distribution to the respective owners is more efficient because monitoring is carried out in other countries and concerted legal action is taken in the event of rights violations.

Furthermore, with these agreements, SCM expanded market opportunities with greater international exposure, facilitating the licensing of Cape Verdean works.
